About Stephanie

Hello! My name is Dr Stephanie and I am an NHS doctor with a passion for education, mentorship and helping students achieve their ambitions.

Having successfully navigated medical training myself I understand how challenging and competitive the journey into medicine can be. Over the years, I have supported aspiring medical students through both paid and informal coaching, helping them prepare for medical school interviews, Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs), medical ethics questions and other aspects of the admissions process.

Alongside my medical degree (MBBS) and intercalated Bachelor of Science (iBSc), I have undertaken postgraduate training and professional development, including my Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. My clinical experience within the NHS also gives me valuable insight into the values, communication skills and professionalism expected of future doctors.

I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance, encouragement and preparation. I know that confidence, effective communication and knowing how to approach unfamiliar questions can make a real difference. I want to help students recognise their strengths, overcome self-doubt and feel prepared to take on new challenges.

My teaching style is supportive, interactive and tailored to each individual. I focus on understanding your needs, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback that helps you make measurable progress. Whether we are practising medical school interviews, exploring ethical scenarios or developing English and academic skills, my goal is to make every lesson engaging, practical and worthwhile.

I am committed to helping my students become confident, independent learners who believe in their abilities and feel empowered to pursue their goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised, engaging and designed to help every student build confidence, develop essential skills and achieve their academic goals.

As an experienced NHS doctor with several years of experience coaching aspiring medical students I offer specialist support with medical school interview preparation, Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs), medical ethics, IMT interview preparation and communication skills.

My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student's individual needs. Through realistic practice questions, mock interviews, timed scenarios and constructive feedback I help students organise their thoughts, strengthen their answers and communicate with confidence. I focus not just on what to say, but on how to think critically, demonstrate empathy and approach unfamiliar questions effectively.

I also offer support with English and wider academic development, adapting my teaching style to suit each learner's level, goals and preferred pace.

Whether you are preparing for a competitive medical school interview or looking to strengthen your academic skills my aim is to provide a supportive, encouraging environment where you can learn, improve and reach your potential.
