About Ziyi
I am a classical pianist currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at Penn State University. I previously completed my master’s degree in piano performance and have experience in solo performance, chamber music, accompanying, and teaching. My background allows me to help students build strong technique, musical understanding, and confidence at the piano. I enjoy working with students of different levels and designing lessons according to their goals.

I offer personalized classical piano and music theory lessons for students of different levels, from beginners to advanced players. My teaching focuses on solid technique, musical expression, score reading, efficient practice methods, and repertoire development. Each lesson is adjusted to the student’s goals, whether they want to build fundamentals, prepare for auditions, improve interpretation, or simply enjoy playing music.
