Paul - Chorlton - Portuguese

I was taught French by Paul which helped me to successfully become accepted for a job in Geneva. I work in insurance and Paul helped me to master the vocabulary and become fluent in the French I need to speak convincingly at interview by doing mock interviews, which helped me build the confidence I needed to get the job I wanted

I was taught advanced conversational French by Paul as I wanted to further my career as a BBC radio producer and work in a French speaking country. Paul helped me to learn all he current affairs vocabulary and expressions I needed to improve my fluency and background knowledge. I succeeded in getting a job in the country of my choice and attribute that success to the preparation I received.

We are work colleagues who studied with Paul after work one hour per week. In two years we become so much more confident and very able to converse when we went on holiday to France. We found that Paul's style of teaching and encouragement at every stage was extremely helpful and built the confidence we needed to speak in the way we wanted to when we were in France.

Paul was an excellent teacher for my son James, when he was preparing for his 11+ entrance exam. Paul's guidance helped him at every stage of preparation and he passed his exam and was accepted by the school f his choice.

Paul taught myself and a group of friends beginners' Spanish. It was great Paul made sure that the classes were always lively and prepared us for going to Spanish on holiday. I particularly remember the role play exercises we did which helped us to see just how the language we learnt fitted into everyday situations. Thanks Paul for teaching us so well.

We learnt conversational French from Paul for two years and enjoyed it a lot. Not only did we learn the kind of language we need when we go on holiday to France but we learnt more about French culture. We attended our classes after a full day's work but it was not a chore to us. We had a great time doing things such as role plays to get us into the habit of practising everyday language and Paul encouraged us to listen to class material which we recorded, which helped us a great deal. We learnt Spanish with Paul in preparation for our holiday to Ibiza. In only six months we managed to get ourselves ready for ordering food and drink, shopping for ourselves and asking directions. We just learnt the phrases we knew we would use and it worked. Paul was very patient with us and very good at helping us get into the habit of listening to conversation material between lessons. Great stuff!

I have been learning Spanish conversation at university level for one and a half years. Paul has really helped me to understand quite difficult expressions and even translate which has helped me a lot in getting good grades in my spoken tests and exams.

I had never learnt French at school, so I was concerned that I would not be able to learn so well in my own time. Paul helped me to find the way of learning that was best for me and I discovered that I learnt all that I needed to go on holiday.
