About Yara
I’m a vocal tutor with more than 5 years of teaching experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. I love helping adults discover that singing can be joyful at any stage of life. Many of my students are beginners, hobbyists, or people who once loved singing and want to start again. Some aim to sing in choirs or enjoy karaoke in social gatherings.
My teaching environment is supportive and relaxed. Students learn without pressure or fear of mistakes. Singing should feel freeing.
In our sessions, we focus on breath control, vocal relaxation, posture, and tone development. I also incorporate mindfulness to help singers stay calm and focused. This makes singing feel natural and comfortable.
I enjoy working with genres like Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult music. These styles allow students to express emotion and creativity. Every voice has its own story.

My teaching approach centers on discovering and enhancing the natural beauty of each student’s voice. Every singer has a unique tone and personality. My role is to help bring that voice forward with healthy technique. Singing should feel natural and enjoyable.
During lessons we focus on breath control, vocal resonance, projection, and tone shaping. These fundamentals build a strong vocal foundation. We also practice techniques such as belting, head voice, and mixed voice. These help singers expand their range and vocal color.
Students complete structured vocal exercises designed to improve clarity and control. We also explore ways to relax the voice and reduce tension. Small improvements create noticeable results.
I work well with learners who want to develop their solo voice and those who are new to singing later in life. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s comfort level and goals. Confidence grows with each session.
My aim is to create a positive and motivating learning environment. Students feel encouraged to explore their voice freely. Together we refine technique and expression. Your full vocal potential will unfold.
