About Ned
I am a student-teacher at Deakin University. I am currently completing my third year of studying Health and Physical Education. I have job experience at secondary schools, teaching and mentoring students in PE, sport and outdoor ED. I have provided surfing lessons to individuals and groups in Torquay, Victoria. These surfers quickly progressed from beginners to confident, intermediate surfers within approximately 6-8 weeks. I have also been involved with coaching junior sporting teams such as AFL and cricket, therefore enjoy working with young people. I am passionate but have a laid back very friendly teaching manner.

I enjoy working with students of all ages between primary and secondary school years. My teaching approach is very student - centred, therefore am very open to how each student best learns. My adaptable approach allows me to work closely with individuals and groups to give them the best learning experience possible. I break down key skills slowly and begin with the essential basics before progressing with my students.

Ned is a highly skilled, passionate and professional pre-service teacher who is extremely trustworthy. Growing up with Ned I have always admired his ease and confidence when it comes to sports. Ned would make an excellent surfing and cricket tutor as he has a combination of skill in the field and passion for teaching and inspiring others.
He really helped me with my trigger step and taught me the best methods for hitting the ball as hard as I can in the backyard. He specifically instructed me on how to face Yorkers by only bowling them to me. Would recommend:))
