About Vivi
I grew up in Guangzhou, speaking both Cantonese and Mandarin from a young age. As a child, I was able to communicate fluently with my friends in Hong Kong. My outgoing and energetic personality made it easy for me to make connections across cultures.
After graduating university, I had the opportunity to study in the UK, which allowed me to become proficient in English as well. During this time, I also gained experience teaching language classes. I've developed my own effective teaching methodologies that cater to different learning styles.
Now, I'm excited to share my language expertise and passion for Chinese culture on this platform. Whether you're a beginner or looking to take your Cantonese and Mandarin to the next level, I'm confident I can help you achieve your goals through my personalized, interactive lessons. I look forward to connecting with you and being a part of your language learning journey!

I'm a passionate Mandarin and Cantonese tutor with a unique, engaging teaching approach honed over 5+ years of experience. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style, ensuring maximum progress.
In a typical lesson, we'll start with a conversational warm-up to get you comfortable speaking the language. Then, I'll introduce new vocabulary and grammar concepts through interactive exercises, role-playing, and multimedia resources. The focus is on practical application - I want you to feel confident using what you've learned in real-world situations.
What sets me apart is my genuine love of language and teaching. I don't just deliver dry facts - I make the lessons fun and memorable, infusing them with my own enthusiasm. My students become more than just pupils, they're friends I get to share my passion with.
Whether you're a complete beginner or want to take your Mandarin/Cantonese to the next level, I can help you achieve fluency. Book a trial lesson today and let's get started on your language learning journey!
