About Dana
I am an experienced diploma-level flautist with over ten years of musical training and more than six years of flute tutoring experience. I perform at a high orchestral level, have directed a university choir, and have toured internationally as a musician, giving me a wide range of performance and teaching experience.
Above all, I am passionate about helping students experience the same joy, confidence, and excitement that music has brought to my life, creating lessons that are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each learner.

My lessons are fun, engaging, and tailored to each student’s age, experience, and individual learning style. I keep a dedicated progress notebook for every student so we can clearly track development and celebrate achievements along the way.
In the first (free) lesson, we will discuss the student’s current level, their goals, and what they would like to gain from lessons, whether that is preparing for graded exams or learning simply for enjoyment. Together, we will then create a personalised learning plan using clear, achievable SMART goals, typically setting three targets each term that we work towards consistently in weekly lessons.

Dana had tutored my daughter, she was an excellent tutor, confident and very helpful. She is very patient, she focus on the things my daughter had trip up on! Very positive and very keen on making sure that you get a distinction in all of your grades.
