About Shukla

I’m an artist and instructor passionate about helping others discover their creativity through painting. With years of experience working with watercolor, gouache, and acrylics, I specialize in landscape painting and love teaching the techniques that bring natural scenes to life. In my class, I want to teach you how to master different painting methods—how watercolors create soft, dreamy skies, how gouache brings bold vibrancy, and how acrylics let you build rich textures. You’ll learn blending, layering, and composition to develop confidence in your own artistic style. Whether you're a beginner or refining your skills, this class is about exploring creativity, expressing yourself, and having fun with paint. Let’s create something beautiful together!

About the lesson

Discover the joy of painting landscapes with watercolor, gouache, and acrylics! This class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists looking to refine their techniques. Through hands-on guidance and expert instruction, you'll learn how to bring breathtaking scenery to life on canvas. # **What You’ll Learn:** - **Watercolor Techniques**: Master washes, wet-on-wet blending, dry brush texture, and layering to create luminous skies, flowing water, and atmospheric depth. - **Gouache Techniques**: Explore the versatility of gouache, using both transparent and opaque methods to build vibrant, detailed landscapes with crisp edges and smooth gradients. - **Acrylic Blending & Mixing**: Learn how to mix colors for realistic scenery, from earthy tones to dramatic sunsets. Experiment with glazing, impasto textures, and controlled blending to create depth and movement. With step-by-step demonstrations and personalized feedback, you’ll gain confidence in brushwork, composition, and color theory. Whether you’re painting tranquil mountains or dynamic coastlines, this class will give you the skills to create stunning landscapes. Let’s paint your vision into reality!
