About Grace

I study Spanish and Italian at the Univeristy of Oxford, where I received a Distinction in my first year Spanish exams. I have an A* in A-level Spanish and a Grade 9 in GCSE Spanish. I have helped students to achieve A*s in their A-level and GCSE exams and I also teach KS3 and primary school Spanish. I have a recent Enhanced DBS check and have experience teaching people of all ages, including children and adults. I have tutored GCSE students in a range of subjects, with my students going on to receive top grades.

About the lesson

Spanish has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I hope that through these lessons I can make you feel the same way! As a home-educated student who self-studied both my GCSEs and A-levels, I can support students with independent learning and teach them strategies to help them achieve top grades. I can also help with Oxbridge preparation, including MLAT prep for Spanish, interview prep for all languages, and personal statement reviews. I am also interested in Hispanic culture and literature, and teach about the culture of the Spanish-speaking world alongside language. This also means that I can teach A-level students the book/film papers, helping them to analyse texts and to write essays in Spanish.

Perfect! Grace is without doubt one of the best tutors I have ever used to teach my Key Stage 2 daughters. She is foremost so sweet, kind and non judgemental on where she is starting from on the ability of an individual student. So whether you need encouragement and a confidence booster or reassurance that the standard is as it should be, Grace is perfect. Without a doubt my daughters have thrived under Grace's tutoring. She really motivates and brings out the very best in her students. But most importantly she gives them self belief. She's very special and my daughters have become incredibly fond of her. If you want to give your child the encouragement and confidence to learn, I wholeheartedly would recommend Grace.
