About Grace
I'm a second-year English student at the University of Oxford, and I achieved a first in my exams.
I was an academic scholar at Latymer Upper School, where I received 3 A* A-Level grades (English, History, Latin) and an A* in my Extended Project (on 'Paradise Lost'). I achieved 10 grade 9s at GCSE/iGCSE level. I've been teaching English language, English literature, and creative writing since 2021, and I pride myself on being dedicated, approachable, and sensitive to my students' strengths and interests.
Recently, I was shortlisted by the Times Literary Supplement for a poetry review in their 'In Brief' competition. I have also been commended in an essay competition and a poetry competition run by Trinity College, Cambridge and Christ Church College, Oxford respectively.

I'm happy to teach all levels, and I specialise in 11+ preparation, GCSE and A-Level study, and Oxbridge/university admission.
I've tutored students as part of their 11+ preparation for major independent schools, including Eton and Godolphin & Latymer. I understand what Oxbridge/Russell Group universities are looking for in applicants, and am available to assist with humanities/Classics applications as well as English.
