About Luka

I am a Graduate at the University of Oxford with a love for all kinds of music that I have kept running alongside my academic career. For me, teaching valuable skills is a satisfying process that increases a student's freedom of choice, whatever the skill may be.

About the lesson

Piano lessons are only not about passing grades or milestones, but about fostering a sense of musicality and a good ear in order to be more musically independent. There are so many things in my 10+ years of piano lessons that I wish I had done differently. I therefore offer tailored and sympathetic advice to all students, helping them waste little time while also learning to enjoy the process.

About my lessons:
- I teach beginner and intermediate classical piano for all ages
- Lessons may take place at home, online, or in a special music room at the University of Oxford
- Lessons can last anywhere from 30 min - 2hrs
- I will be recommending pieces to learn and helping you play your own choices
- Lessons are a relaxed back and forth, including time for technique excercises, basic theory, and interpretation.

- 15 years of piano, 10+ years of lessons
- Passed Grade 8 with distinction
- Multiple performances
- Casual academic, musical, and sports tutoring experience
