About George
I offer tuition at all key stages, with experience in preparing school students for GCSE, A Level, and IB exams as well as Oxbridge entrance. With a PGCE and two years' school teaching experience, I have a good knowledge of the exam specifications and the pedagogical know-how to get your child the best grades possible. I have worked both in public and private education across a range of subjects and therefore have not only a broad knowledge base but also a sensitivity to the unique needs of each pupil and what motivates them to learn. I aim to deliver well-structured lessons that are lively and engaging.

Languages are a great passion of mine and I always aim to convey that in my lessons. I have six years' experience of tutoring, working one-to-one with students preparing for GCSE and A Level exams. I have spent two years working full-time in schools so have a detailed working knowledge of the specification for exams. I have also worked with a variety of adult learners, including young professionals relocating as well as musicians and enthusiastic language learners. When not in the classroom I am a tour guide at the Tate Galleries in London. I also lead cultural tours around Europe for school groups and lived in both Germany and Italy. I like to use that cultural and linguistic knowledge in my lessons to really bring the language to life.
