About Peter
I have recently graduated with a degree in Classics and Arabic from the University of Oxford and am now studying for a Master's in Philosophy at King's College London. Having spent the past four years exploring the incredible world that learning ancient languages has given me access to, I'm keen to share that with whoever wants to learn! I have a number of years' experience tutoring students on a one-to-one basis in a variety of subjects including Latin, Maths, and Politics. These, along with my own experiences learning languages, have set me in good stead to help others on their language-learning journey.

My classes are tailored to the needs of individual students, focused on helping to work on weak-points, while making sure to form concrete achievable goals to ensure a strong sense of progress. I also ensure that students are well-prepared for exams they may be sitting, basing materials for classes on exam requirements while also supporting students to go beyond the curriculum. I usually teach 1-hour weekly classes, with targeted homework to help students reinforce their knowledge.

I couldn't think of anyone better to recommend as a Latin tutor than Peter! His expertise in Latin is very impressive, and he's got a real knack for making the language both accessible and engaging. Peter is very friendly and patient, and also ensures that learning Latin is not only educational but also enjoyable.
