About Michael
I'm a musician, audio engineer, and music producer. I've performed with Ableton Live and Push in a variety of ways. My music has been featured on a vinyl compilation. I've also run backing tracks for major musical theater shows across the Midwest, US.
I have worked for Synthstrom Audible giving lessons and making video tutorials for the Deluge. I have experience with MIDI and hardware synths as well as CV and modular, and have incorporated those into Ableton in various ways.
I've been teaching music lessons since 2005, while attending Columbia College for music performance. Advanced music theory can be covered as well.

I have experience teaching a wide range of levels. From absolute beginners new to computers to performers who've already been using Ableton for years.
I don't do lesson plans for one-on-one students. Each person has unique needs and goals. I assess where a student is at and determine where I see room for improvement and ask the student about their goals. That way I can get them focused on what they need to improve.
