About Jiayi
Hello there! My name is Jiayi, you can also call me Florence. I am a native speaker of Mandarin with standard pronunciation. I have been an international student in Canada since high school, and I have graduated from the University of Toronto, where I studied microbiology and nutrition.
Teaching is a personal interest of mine because I enjoy communicating with people and I love helping others using my knowledge. Being a second language learner and user myself, I fully understand how difficult it is to learn a new language. It takes a lot of effort and perseverance, and I am here to help! I have tutoring experience in high school as well as from the university, where I helped my classmates to improve their understanding of the class material. I am sure with we can work together to help you achieve your learning goals!

- I will be grading my lessons according to your level, your interests, and your goals.
Please don't be shy if you are not confident with your Mandarin, we can totally start from any level you want! I started learning English from 0 as well :)
