About Jacques
I started my agricultural studies at Tshwane University of Technology in 1992, qualifying with a Diploma in Animal Production. I specialised with a Higher Diploma in Poultry Production Management. The highlight of my studies was by completing my MBA with the Stellenbosch Business School in 2023.
I have had numerous management positions within sales, technical department and production. I started on farm level, working my way up into general management.
Most important learnings from my career path were to work with a diverse group of people towards a common goal.
But my most satisfying achievements is to see the people I have mentored, growing in their careers.

I am proficient in english and afrikaans, with vast exprience and knowledge in the agricaultal environment to assit the students to understand the learnings in a practical way. My learning method will be practical, visual and promoting interaction in a comfortable environment.
My aim is to start of with school learners, as I believe we need young people to enjoy agriculture, and build the younger generation to secure our future and food security.
