About Catherine
My name is Catherine, and I am a French native from Paris, offering online French tutoring.
I work with VCE students, helping them practise and prepare for their exams through a range of exercises, including text reformulation and paraphrasing, listening comprehension with dictations and targeted exercises, as well as reading and writing practice. I also focus on speaking practice to help students become more confident and natural in their oral exams.
I would love to support more students in developing confidence with French grammar, conjugation, and pronunciation.
I also work with primary students, as well as adults keen to progress in French.

Regarding my teaching approach; I first try to understand the students’ preferred learning style, and then involve them in tailoring the best methodology to make the lessons engaging and effective. Building on this, I reinforce classroom learning through exercises and interactive lessons and tests, using materials such as texts, reading passages and audio clips in order to improve reading and listening skills, as well as pronunciation.
