About Maida
My name is Maida, I'm 17 years old and I love creative stuff. Ever since I was young I've made loads of random creative projects. A few things that I did were:
- Making stickman comics
- Trying to make working cardboard vending machines (I made one recently too)
- Building houses with Legos (both big and small)
- I even made tents with Lego furniture!
I also love origami and when I'm bored I take my time to carefully fold paper into fun fidgets and cute roses.
My younger sister makes her own little projects and she often comes to me for ideas and help and so I've learnt how to guide these mini creators patiently. She also comes to me for emotional support and warmth so I can even help your child with their worries and offer simple advice!
I want to use my skills to help young girls get creative, tap into their own imaginations and be happy!

I am a 17-year-old student and I would love to share my creativity! As an older sister to a 6-year-old girl, I know how much they like to have fun and create!
I offer 1hr sessions for Wednesdays at 5pm. There are 4 sessions in total and you can message me about the little one's interests so I can tailor the projects to what she enjoys.
For the last session, if the other sessions go well, I can arrange a meet-up (in a quiet public space like a library or park) where we can work on a project in person!
I don't just focus on crafts, I would use our time together to work on personal development. If you want, I can help with simple homework and make it fun! I am a study buddy, a friend and a role model.
To prepare for the sessions, after we choose a project, I will send you a quick checklist of any materials or items we might need.
We can negotiate timings if need be, and you can let me know if you would like more than 4 sessions. Don't worry, we can discuss more later! :)
