Thank you for your interest in my work. My name is Andrew Dandie, and I provide private, high-caliber English tutoring for a select number of students from elementary through high school in Brampton. I work with families who seek more than basic academic support—those who value precision, discretion, and a truly personalized approach to their child’s education. I intentionally maintain a limited client roster to ensure that each student receives a highly focused and tailored learning experience. This allows me to devote the necessary time and attention to understanding not only a student’s academic needs, but also how they think, learn, and engage with language at a deeper level. My approach is structured, methodical, and rooted in modern, research-informed teaching practices. Through differentiated instruction, each lesson is carefully calibrated to the student’s level, ensuring both rigor and clarity. I use scaffolding to build mastery with intention, and ongoing formative assessment to refine instruction in real time. Students are guided beyond surface-level understanding. I emphasize clarity of thought, depth of analysis, and precision in expression—skills that underpin strong academic performance. Younger students develop a solid foundation through structured literacy approaches, while older students are coached in advanced writing, critical analysis, and articulate communication. All instruction is aligned with the Ontario curriculum, while also extending beyond it to cultivate independence, discipline, and intellectual confidence. The objective is not only improved grades, but the development of refined academic habits that support long-term success. Equally important is the environment I create. Sessions are calm, focused, and purposeful—designed to encourage thoughtful engagement without unnecessary pressure. Students are held to a high standard, while being supported with patience and professionalism. I place a strong emphasis on discretion, consistency, and clear communication with families. Parents can expect thoughtful updates, honest insight into progress, and a dependable, well-structured tutoring experience at every stage.
