About Sydney
I am a Psychology graduate from New York University with a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. For over six years, I have volunteered and worked with children and teens ages 2–18, including neurodivergent individuals, supporting diverse learning styles, communication needs, and emotional experiences. This experience has strengthened my ability to adapt instruction, break down complex tasks, and use interactive, strengths-based methods to foster academic growth. I am deeply passionate about helping students build confidence, develop lasting skills, and approach learning with curiosity, resilience, and enjoyment.
