About Michael
I am a New York State Certified English teacher with over 10 years of tutoring experience. I specialize in all areas of ELA including test prep, writing, and reading comprehension. I have a master’s degree in Education, and am very knowledgeable in the content area. Some of my former students have received acceptance into Ivy League schools and medical schools abroad. Teaching is my passion and I hope to inspire all of my students to reach their highest potential. I am patient, caring, and willing to do whatever it takes for my students to achieve success.

Hello! My name is Michael and I have over 10 years of tutoring experience in English and writing. I am professional and have a true passion for teaching English Language Arts. My lessons are heavily student-oriented. During a typical tutoring session, new students will perform a diagnostic exam in order to determine strengths and weaknesses. After, we will identify our focus for the session and come up with a strategy to achieve that goal. I encourage my students to ask many questions and I frequently check in for understanding. As an educator, I try to meet my students at their skill level and treat every student with the attention and care they deserve.
