About Nico
I'm a Master's student in Dublin. I have been giving language classes since my first year at University. I have lived in different cities (such as Barcelona, Montreal, Buenos Aires and Singapore), which has given me a real understanding of what it's like to learn a new language and adapt to a different culture, something I bring into how I teach and connect with my students.
One of my passions is learning new things, which is one of the reasons why I enjoy teaching. I always learn about everything, while teaching my students.

My teaching style is conversational and adaptive rather than rigid or textbook-driven.
Fastest way to build real fluency is through consistent speaking practice, so most of each lesson is spent actually using French, discussing topics you're interested in, working through real-life scenarios, or practicing exam-style questions, depending on your goals.
I mix this with focused grammar and pronunciation correction so mistakes get addressed naturally as they come up, rather than through isolated drills, always keeping it interesting to learn.
As someone who speaks five languages myself, I pay close attention to the specific patterns and mistakes that come from thinking in another language first, and I adjust my explanations accordingly.
Lesson length: Lessons typically run 60 minutes, but I can adapt myself!
Qualifications/experience: I'm a native French speaker currently completing a Master's degree, with strong academic training in written and analytical work. I have been teaching languages for 4 years (mostly French and Spanish) and still enjoy it as much as my first time.
