About Courtney Rachael
I am a newer teacher with an endorsement in elementary & special education. While I was working on my teaching degree I worked as a para-educator in a classroom focused on social/emotional support for students who struggled to be in general education classrooms. The past two school years I have been an elementary resource room teacher. During the 2021-2022 school year I taught remotely at my district's virtual school.
I celebrate every single success of my students and work to give them the confidence they need to succeed in school.

I have experience working with students with many different learning disabilities and always adjust my lessons and teaching method to match their learning style. I also work to create lessons and activities that my students will enjoy in order to encourage them to participate in subjects they may struggle in. I like to always incorporate either math or reading fluency in each lesson to support those foundation skills as work gets more difficult. I also always give my students some space to be a kid and play various learning style games.
