About Nikki

My name is Nikki, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience with a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation, graduating at the top of my class. I have four years of tutoring experience that began during college, where I worked closely with students in one-on-one settings to support their academic growth. My approach is flexible and student-centered, focusing on identifying how each individual learns best and adjusting instruction accordingly. I prioritize clarity, consistency, and patience in every session, taking the time to reinforce concepts and ensure students feel confident in their understanding. My goal is to provide a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, strengthening their skills, and progressing academically.

My name is Nikki, and I graduated at the top of my class with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation. My academic journey was challenging, but it taught me the importance of understanding how different people learn in different ways. What helped me succeed was practicing concepts repeatedly until I fully understood them and exploring multiple learning styles rather than relying on a single method. This experience shaped how I approach tutoring and allows me to adapt my teaching to each individual student.

I have been tutoring for four years, beginning during my time in college, and I have worked primarily in one-on-one settings. This format has allowed me to give students my full attention and tailor each session to their specific needs, strengths, and areas of difficulty. I make a point to explain concepts multiple times and in different ways to ensure true understanding, whether that means using examples, breaking ideas down step by step, or approaching the material from a new perspective.

My goal as a tutor is to help students feel confident and capable in their learning. I strive to create an environment where students do not feel lost or discouraged and instead feel empowered to ask questions and grow academically. I am passionate about helping as many students as possible succeed in school and develop skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.
