With over 20 years of experience teaching mathematics at both the secondary and university levels and an M.S. in Mathematics, I bring deep subject expertise and a strong commitment to professionalism and clarity.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Before we begin, I take time to understand your background, goals, strengths, and areas of difficulty, and I tailor each lesson accordingly.

A typical session starts with a brief review to reinforce prior material, followed by a careful introduction of new concepts with an emphasis on intuition before formal techniques. Rather than focusing on memorizing procedures, I aim to help you understand *why* the ideas work. We then build up through increasingly challenging problems until you can approach new questions with confidence and independence.

Mistakes are an essential part of the process. I encourage students to explain their thinking, ask questions, and engage actively so we can quickly identify and resolve misconceptions.
