About Virginia
Hi guys! I am a highly successful AP scholar with prestigious award nominations and internships under my belt. I've served as an editor for many years as well as a professional journalistic writer and a state award-winning poet and actress. I've always loved English, and I believe firmly that anyone can write well with practice, of which I've had a lot. Since I specialize in AP format, most essay samples and workshopping will be short-form analysis rather than multi-page papers.

I aim to help students who want to improve their literary analysis skills and writing abilities, most specifically for AP, by going over how to best take notes, how to break down literary ideas, and through in-depth writing meetings and workshops. I believe learning is best achieved through reflection, so I ask students be prepared with prior writing samples and goals in mind as I go over tips, tricks, and methods to keep in mind while also introducing complex syntactical structures and new vocabulary.
