About Jake
I have tutored in the past at Kumon and wanted to move to more advanced teaching lessons in my field of study. I have been tutoring for almost 3 years now and my number of students has grown over the years. With my sessions, I have seen grades go from D's to A's, however; it is also important for the student to put forth the effort as well.

Previous experience being an SI (supplemental instructor) for chemistry and biology courses I had received A's in. Each week I would reserve a study room in the library and invite all the students in my courses to come out and I would procede to teach and answer any questions they came across.
Even though I'm an undergrad, the material is still fresh in my mind giving me the upper hand when it comes to tutoring.
