About Bodil

I am a student at Glasgow University. I am fluent in both Danish and English so there will be no language barrier. Before moving to Glasgow I earned and bilingual IB diploma, so I am able to assist students at any level of Danish from complete beginners to students of literature.

About the lesson

I will structure lessons to fit the needs of my students. The exact focus of my lessons will depend on the level of each student. At every level, I will maintain a focus on oral and practical skills through the introduction of aspects like songs and media content. When teaching higher levels I will introduce aspects like discussion and presentation. I will also take care to incorporate student feedback into my lesson plan to ensure that my methods are effective.

Perfect! Bodil is an excellent teacher, always prepared with a lesson plan that she adapts specifically to you. Her communication is punctual. Importantly for me, she always humored my desire to go off on tangents dissecting a word's meaning and translation, but was quick to get back on track.

Nick is always curious and enthusiastic about the language. He is not scared to ask questions which is a great asset in both my teaching and his learning. He is quick to grasp concepts and applies them well in both speech and writing. Keep it up :)
