About Barbara
I worked as a professional journalist and writer before moving to the US to pursue a career in event planning and management. I worked in Public Relations for many years, and I have a good command of public speaking. I taught Italian at graduate level at Thunderbird Business School. I have been teaching Italian on a volunteer basis for many years. I take pride in helping people mastering my beautiful language.

I raised kids who perfectly bilingual in the United States. I am Patient and understanding but also demanding and precise, you will not waste your time or money. Avid reader of everything from literature to pop culture. I am not boring and I can adapt my style of teaching to your particular way of learning. I can teach you correct grammar and syntax, discuss literature, history or art with you but I can also teach you to speak “menu” or engage you in everyday conversation. Plus… I am nice :)
