About Apolline
I'm currently in my second year of a master's degree at one of France's top business schools.
To get there, I had to do a preparatory class after my baccalauréat. In France, the preparatory classes called "classes préparatoires" are considered to be particularly elitist, lasting two years, at the end of which you sit a competitive entrance exam to enter what are known as the “Progammes Grandes Écoles”. For this type of program, an excellent level of French is required, both in written and oral expression.

I think we can all agree that learning to speak French isn't the most entertaining thing in the world - lots of grammatical rules, words that sound alike and so on. That's why, after a review of the basic rules (boring but necessary), I'd like to get down to the practical side as soon as possible. For example, if you like movies, the exercise will be to watch a film in French and then be able to tell me about it in the next lesson. If you prefer music, we can do exercises in translation, reading, comprehension and so on. I try to adapt to my students as much as possible.
Before our first lesson, I'll need you to send me your syllabus for the year if you're taking a class, otherwise send me a message explaining your objective and why you want to learn French. So that I can prepare of our first sessions.
My courses are designed for middle and high school students and adult beginners.
