About Matej

With over five years in language education, I have developed a method that works very well in cooperation with students using dialogues (both read and spoken), literature, grammar exercises, various optional exercises, writing assignments, lots of student speaking time in the subject language and listening tests. Having grown up speaking German and spending a lot of time in Austria, I have gathered much experience helping people learn this fascinating language. Due to flexible course times, I can't always stick to fixed lesson times, although this is not often the case. Should this be the case, the 24-hour rule applies.

About the lesson

I adjust the lesson content to the individual while keeping a rather structured approach. Typically, my German courses start out with lots of grammar exercises, short writing and short texts. As the level increases, so does the amount of writing and reading as a whole, without taking up more time (with grammar exercises becoming less, the increased writing balances out the time you'd usually spend on the former). With time, the amount of speaking in German also would increase to the point of exclusivity. However, I can only help you so long as you do the homework.
My lessons are for levels A1-B1 in preparation for the higher levels. I am also willing to give lessons without any exam as the ultimate goal, but will give work that would compare.
