About Alba

I am a college student at Saint Peter's University with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. All through high school, I tutored two sisters. One of the two, was in special education classes when I began to tutor her in 5th grade and by the time she graduated 8th grade, she was out of special education classes and into honors. Not only do I have experience in tutoring, I was also born and raised in the Dominican Republic, therefore I am a very fluent Spanish speaker.

About the lesson

I focus on the areas that my students have the most trouble with, and I explain things as many times as needed until the student feels comfortable with the subject matter. I give study tips for tests and techniques on how to remember words and phrases with agility.
