About Shichao
With two master's degrees, one specializing in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Second Language, I bring nearly a decade of experience in Mandarin instruction. Having taught in both Shanghai and Boston, I've honed my skills in both classroom settings and one-on-one tutoring sessions.

Mandarin - Beginner:
Introduces the fundamentals of the Chinese language including Pinyin, four tones, eight basic strokes, and elementary grammar. Each lesson will include basic reading, writing, listening and speaking exercises.
Topics: greetings, nationalities, occupations, hobbies, and routines
Objectives: introductions, personal pronouns, simple adjectives and adverbs, forming basic sentencing and questions, describing people physically, Chinese last name and first name positions, and numbers 1-10.
