About Teresa
I am a Spanish native currently based in New York, where I work as a Project Engineer. I consider myself a hardworking, responsible, and enthusiastic person with a true passion for teaching. For more than five years, I have taught mathematics to students of different ages, which has given me valuable teaching experience and strong communication skills.
Now that I live in New York, I am excited to share my language and culture by offering Spanish lessons. I have experience teaching Spanish to students with different levels and backgrounds, and I am eager to continue this rewarding work and take on more students. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and enjoy the learning process.

A typical class includes interactive exercises, real-life dialogues, and personalized practice to build confidence step by step. What sets me apart is my 5+ years of teaching experience combined with my background as a Master’s student in Industrial Engineering, which helps me adapt lessons to different learning styles and needs.
I work with children, teenagers, and adults of all levels. Lessons are available online or in-person in Chicago, always happy to make learning Spanish practical and enjoyable.
