About MARIA

I am a Spanish teacher with 13 years of experience teaching Spanish at high school level and at International Baccalaureate School.
At the high school level, students take Spanish as a requirement to go to college. By 2018 the graduation rate was 89%.; however, students from International Baccalaureate have a 100% passing score in their final Spanish exam at the senior level.
Through all these year I have developed a lot of practical work experience as discipline, planning teamwork, and communication skills

About the lesson

The teaching approach is based on the type of students. Teachers need to know well theirs students to be able to adapt the teaching approach in accordance to students learning styles. However; in teaching a language the focus should be student-centered with a strong communication skills component.
