About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor:
As a native Spanish teacher from Costa Rica, I specialize in providing engaging, personalized lessons in Spanish as a second language. My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of individual learning needs, and I tailor my lessons to each student's goals, learning style, and pace.

Teaching Method and Techniques:
I use interactive, communicative methods to help students immerse themselves in the language and culture. I believe that language learning is most effective when students are actively engaged, so I incorporate various techniques such as:

Real-life conversations and role-playing to improve fluency and confidence.

Visual aids and multimedia resources to reinforce grammar and vocabulary.

Games and activities to make learning fun and engaging, particularly for students who may have challenges with traditional learning methods.

Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson is structured around the student's specific needs. A typical lesson may include:

Warm-up: Quick conversational practice to get the student comfortable speaking.

Vocabulary and grammar: Focused practice based on the student's level.

Interactive exercises: To reinforce what they've learned in context.

Cultural exploration: I incorporate aspects of Costa Rican culture to make the language come alive, including music, traditions, and current events.

Review and wrap-up: Summarizing key points and setting goals for the next session.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:

What truly sets me apart is my specialization in dyslexia and executive functions. I understand that each learner is unique, especially those with learning differences, and I use my expertise in psychopedagogy to adapt the learning process. I am skilled at:

Providing clear, step-by-step instructions to students who may struggle with traditional learning methods.

Using strategies to improve attention, focus, and memory, making language learning accessible to everyone, including students with learning difficulties.

Who the Lessons Are For:
I offer lessons for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. My lessons are particularly beneficial for:

Beginners looking to establish a strong foundation in Spanish.

Intermediate and advanced students aiming to enhance their conversational skills and grammar.

Students with learning differences, such as dyslexia, who need specialized, structured support.

Adults and professionals interested in learning Spanish for personal or business purposes.
