About Ella
Fluency is often found in the quietest moments of listening rather than in loud repetition. Some people think that grammar is the only way to learn a language, but I disagree. We prioritize everyday phrases for beginners to get you speaking immediately.
I use my background as a musician to emphasize pronunciation and rhythm in your speech. Writing skills and exam preparation are built into our routine as you progress.
Listening practice is constant. We also cover interview techniques for those moving abroad. Kids learn through play, while intermediate learners dig into nuance. Success is a journey.
It takes consistent effort. I hope to help you find your voice in this beautiful language.

The scent of fresh coffee reminds me of home where bolero and chacarera filled the air every evening. My teaching path began 5 years ago after I spent 13 years as a gigging musician in Australia. I have worked with 179 students ranging from kids to professionals relocating to Spanish speaking countries. As a native speaker, I clarify the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants while focusing on your conversational fluency.
I enjoy helping people prepare for interviews or the DELE exam. My method is rooted in the same cultural traditions I grew up with. You are welcome to join me for a trial conversation.
