About Valerie
I am a first-generation child of immigrants high school student and native Spanish speaker with a strong academic background in the language. Spanish was my first language, and I have completed Spanish 1 for Spanish speakers, Spanish 2 for Spanish speakers, Spanish 3 for Spanish speakers, and AP Spanish Language & Culture. I earned a 5 on the AP Spanish Language & Culture exam and have also been recognized for my academic achievement in Spanish.

-Since Spanish is my first language and I have taken Spanish 1, 2, 3, and AP Spanish Language, I understand both conversational Spanish and how the language is taught in school.
-I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
-Lessons can include conversation practice, reviewing difficult concepts, homework help, and preparation for quizzes or tests.
