About Clara
I am half Cuban, and have grown up speaking Spanish; I love sharing the language and the culture!
I want to help young learners develop their confidence and skills in an encouraging and supportive environment. I have worked primarily with students aged 7-15, and I aim to keep my lessons creative and engaging.
As a tutor, I am friendly and approachable. I will always create a space where questions are encouraged and students can learn at a pace that suits them.

I offer engaging Spanish lessons for students aged 7–15, designed to build confidence and improve both speaking and understanding.
My teaching is based on a communicative and task-based approach, meaning students learn through interactive activities, real-life conversations, and practical exercises rather than just memorisation.
With 2 years of tutoring experience and an A* equivalent in Spanish Language and Literature, and Spanish as my second language at home, I support students with schoolwork, exam preparation, or general language development.
Lessons are 30–45 minutes long and tailored to each student’s level and goals. A typical lesson includes a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and fun activities to keep learning enjoyable and effective.
I am passionate about Spanish and enjoy helping young learners grow in confidence and ability.
