About Laura
I graduated in Arts and then did a Master's in Secondary Education and Languages. I've taught Spanish to people from different countries -US, Canada, England and Germany- and currently work helping young people experiencing Spain through language immersion.
But my life hasn't exactly followed a traditional teacher's path.. I tend to find interesting ways of making a living... I've lived in different countries and worked in some wonderfully random places- from circus to social projects, tour guiding, horse riding, jewelry maker or canoe instructor.
I have always loved the strange little magic that happens when two people from totally different parts of the globe find a way to understand each other.
For me, Languages aren't just about grammar — they're about being able to express yourself, make jokes, understand people and feel like you belong, even somewhere completely new.

I've spent a lot of time learning and practicing other languages too. I know what it's like to learn another language myself, so I like creating a relaxed space where you don't have to worry about speaking perfect Spanish. I think making mistakes is part of the fun.
Everyone has their own language, culture, humor and way of seeing things. I love discovering those differences and I want to hear how you sound in Spanish :)
So if you want to learn Spanish, practice your conversation, prepare for a trip or simply have someone to talk to in Spanish, come and say hi.
And yes… you'll probably hear my Andalusian accent at some point. ;)
