About Miguel
I have taught and tutored students in Spanish at the High School (Spanish I,II and III) level and at college level (Spanish I).
Though raised in Puerto Rico, my father was Argentinian and I have traveled to Mexico, Panama and Argentina. Having been exposed to these lands and peoples from many other Spanish-speaking countries, I have gained an appreciation and understanding of many of these cultures and their differences and sensibilities.
When I have recorded audio translations in Spanish, many have said that my Spanish bridges all the differences and comes across almost without any particular slant to any one country, yet every word was understandable.
One person called it "neutral", which I considered a success in my effort to communicate equally well with an audience representing several different Spanish-speaking countries.
So, whatever the setting or situational requirements may be, I can help!

I am a Native Spanish speaker born in New York but raised in Puerto Rico.
I have a degree in Chemistry, but having lived in the US since 1979, I soon realized a remarkable ease and ability with these languages (my father spoke 7 languages) and soon drifted into translation and tutoring work.
I have always found myself helping others learn English and/or Spanish!
I love what I do particularly because I "zero in" on the right sounds and "how to learn" the language.
As I help students be effective and get just the right pronunciation after just a few tries, they are thrilled that they actually can achieve the pronunciation and comprehension they seek.
And, the last thing I am is boring. I am bright, animated, passionate and lively as well as very humorous and entertaining in all I do! So, you will have FUN, AND learn VERY effectively, successfully and enjoyably at the same time. I GUARANTEE IT!
