About the lesson

Hello, I'm your future Spanish teacher. I'm a native speaker and hold a diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) from the University of the Americas. My mission is to help you speak Spanish fluently, confidently, and accurately, understanding not only the words but also the culture that surrounds them.

My classes are based on the Communicative Approach and Task-Based Learning. This means that grammar isn't memorized but actively practiced in real-life situations from the very beginning. I use multimodal techniques, authentic materials (newspaper articles, videos, podcasts), and interactive online tools to make the class dynamic and effective.

Typical 50-minute lesson plan:
• Minutes 1-10 (Activation and Conversation): We start a conversation and review your previous questions to activate the language.
• Minutes 10-25 (Linguistic Focus): Introduction to a grammatical, lexical, or cultural structure through a real-life example.
• Minutes 25-45 (Guided and Free Practice): We simulate an everyday situation or a practical debate where you actively participate, applying what you've learned.
• Minutes 45-50 (Feedback): Constructive error correction, a summary of your achievements for the day, and the assignment of optional activities for the week.
