I’m a native Spanish and English speaker who is passionate about helping students feel confident using Spanish in real-life situations. My lessons are friendly, practical, and personalized to your goals and learning style.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, want to improve your conversation skills, are preparing for travel, or simply want to become more comfortable speaking Spanish, I’ll help you build your skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

I believe learning a language should be enjoyable and useful, not intimidating. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I’ll encourage you to speak, practice, and improve without feeling pressured to be perfect.

You’ll receive personalized attention, clear explanations, and lessons designed around what you actually want to achieve. My goal is not just to teach you Spanish, but to help you feel confident enough to use it.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Spanish is practical, personalized, and focused on helping students feel comfortable actually using the language.

Rather than relying only on memorization and traditional exercises, I use conversation, real-life situations, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, and simple explanations of grammar. I want students to understand not only what to say, but also how and when Spanish is naturally used.

A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of what we have previously learned. We then focus on the main goal for that lesson, such as learning new vocabulary, practicing a specific grammar concept, improving pronunciation, or working through a real-life conversation. The lesson ends with additional conversation practice so you can immediately apply what you've learned.

I adapt lessons to each student's level, personality, interests, and goals. If you're learning Spanish for travel, we'll focus on useful everyday communication. If you're learning for work, we'll incorporate professional situations. If your goal is simply to become conversational, we'll spend more time speaking and developing your confidence.

What sets me apart is that I'm a native Spanish and English speaker, so I understand the challenges that English speakers can face when learning Spanish. I can explain concepts clearly in English when needed, while gradually helping students become more comfortable thinking and communicating in Spanish.

My lessons are suitable for complete beginners, intermediate learners, and anyone who wants to improve their conversational Spanish. You don't need to have a perfect foundation before starting — we'll work from wherever you are and build from there.

Most importantly, I want my lessons to feel comfortable, encouraging, and useful. Making mistakes is part of learning a language, and my goal is to help you become confident enough to keep speaking, even when you don't know every word.
