About Alina
I have always been passionate about the Russian language and culture, and over the past few years I have been fortunate to travel regularly between Minsk, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and the UK, immersing myself in the language and its cultural context. Now, in my final year of university, I am excited to share my knowledge of Russian while gaining first-hand experience in teaching. I have some previous experience tutoring languages during my year abroad in Estonia and Latvia, which showed me how rewarding it is to help others learn and grow. Beyond language, I love exploring different cultures, reading, cinematography, travelling, and trying new experiences, and I bring this curiosity and enthusiasm into every lesson.

I offer flexible Russian lessons tailored entirely to your needs and goals. Lessons can be conversational, exam-focused, PowerPoint-explained, or even gamified, making learning fun, practical, and effective. Typical lesson length is 30–60 minutes, depending on what suits you best.
I am a native Russian speaker with Russian GCSE and A-Level qualifications, and I will soon graduate with a degree in Russian and Business. I lived in Minsk, Belarus for 12 years, travelled extensively across Russia, and visited the Baltic countries, where Russian is widely spoken. This gives me deep cultural and linguistic insight that I bring into every lesson.
Whether you want to improve conversational skills, prepare for exams, or learn in a fun, interactive way, I can adapt lessons to suit your style and help you speak Russian confidently and naturally.
