About Yichen

Hello! I'm a passionate language enthusiast and native Mandarin speaker currently pursuing my studies at the University of Melbourne. Having experienced the challenges of learning new languages myself, I understand the importance of patient, encouraging guidance. My goal is to make Chinese accessible and enjoyable, helping you build confidence while discovering the beauty of this rich language and culture.

About the lesson

Perfect! Yichen makes learning fun, with a great breakdown of the language and the patience of a saint. She is more than happy to go over a sound or word over and over again, for as long as we need, without complaint. I feel safe learning with her, and I'm very happy.

Yichen's response
Celeste is a very diligent and cheerful student who always approaches lessons with a positive attitude. She is engaged, cooperative, and a pleasure to teach. Our lessons are always enjoyable, and she creates a comfortable and friendly learning atmosphere. Going forward, she could continue to build her confidence in speaking and challenge herself to use more complex expressions.
