About Wayne

My name is Wayne Lin, and I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan with a deep passion for teaching and cultural exchange. I hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minor in Education and have over three years of teaching experience as a Teacher Assistant at Seattle Chinese School, where I worked with students of different ages and levels.

I believe that learning a language should feel encouraging, practical, and enjoyable. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on building confidence while helping students understand not only the language, but also the culture behind it.

Having grown up in Taiwan and studied in the United States, I understand the challenges language learners face and how to explain Chinese in a clear and simple way. I am committed to helping every student reach their goals and feel comfortable using Mandarin in real life.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. As a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan with a minor in Education and over three years of teaching experience at Seattle Chinese School, I create engaging, practical, and confidence-building lessons for every learner.

Each class is fully personalized based on your goals, age, and learning style. Whether you are learning for school, travel, work, or personal interest, I focus on real-life communication, clear pronunciation, and cultural understanding. Lessons include speaking practice, listening, reading, writing, and useful daily conversations.

I use interactive methods such as games, role-play, videos, songs, and structured exercises to keep learning fun and effective. I am patient, supportive, and committed to helping you feel comfortable using Mandarin in real situations. Let’s make Chinese learning enjoyable and achievable together!
