About Sara

Ciao! I'm Sara from Italy, Rome! Two years ago I spent some time in NYC working as PhD researcher in Economics. I’ve also lived in Argentina and France. I believe that the best learning method is a mix between grammar and enjoyable moments. I have what in Italy we call "classical diploma", I studied ancient Latin and Greek, so I have a deep knowledge of the Italian language and its origins. I normally teach at the University, but online I’m super chill. Promise it won't be boring! Let's get in touch ;)

About the lesson

I like to mix basic grammar with practice, such as talking about a movie or reading the lyrics of a song together. I love grammar but I like to make it simple, I think a base is necessary but then the rest comes with practice! I then like to do thematic lessons where you deal with one topic and learn the vocabulary related to it, such as sports, Italian cooking and Italian customs... we can also talk about economics, I’m an applied microeconomics researcher.
