About Clément
Hi there, I'm Clément! I am a Master's student from France residing in Sydney for the purposes of my academic research in linguistics. I am passionate about languages (especially French and English), ancient history, and literature.
I love those hobbies so much that I take great pleasure in teaching them! I am an experience French as a Second Language teacher as I tutored non-native speakers in the Paris region for several years so they can acclimate to the country and pass the different language proficiency examinations. I am very knowledgeable about my main two languages and have a lot of material to help make tutoring sessions clear and practical. I can adapt to any proficiency level as I have done in the past to ensure maximum efficiency in helping you reach your language goals!

I believe that the fastest way to improve comes from being able to speak your target language and I thus deliver teaching sessions that will reflect this conviction. I however don't focus solely on this aspect and aim at providing as holistic a session as possible, and will make use of image and sound-based aids throughout, as well as help you with your writing as needed. After three years of teaching French as a second language, I have had a number of students over that time period, allowing me to understand your needs accurately and my background as a linguistics student enables me to accurately and clearly explain the intricacies of this puzzling language no matter your level or age.
