About Maxime
French is my mother tongue. I learned to read even before going to the end of kindergarten. How? 'Or' What ? I had a video game that I couldn't save and would start that game over and over again from the beginning. It had the advantage of having subtitles in the cutscenes. By dint of reviewing the cutscenes, I associated the letters with the sounds. Especially since I already associated the sounds / a /, / i / and / ə / with the letters A, I and E. First I ask why the student is asking for my help. I listen to him and I do not derive from what he / she says. Then I speak in my turn. If the student tells me I'm going too far, I cut myself off and ask them again specifically what their problem is. When he / she understands, I do some exercises so that he / she can better remember. I take notes of the difficulties that the student has and I prepare exercises in relation to what he / she must have struggled to do as well as revision exercises during the previous class session. I also make diagrams to better explain the materials.
