About Marie
A bit more about me:
In addition to holding a valid teaching credential (that means that I am trained to teach French and have years of experience working with language learners in public schools), I traveled and lived in different French-speaking locations such as Quebec, France, Guadeloupe, Switzerland, etc.
I hold a master’s degree in Literature and Contemporary Societies from the Sorbonne (Paris, France), a second master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the UNAM (Mexico City) and a third one in Political Science from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. I completed the teaching credential program in San José State University (California) and graduated in 2019. Teaching French language and cultureS in high school is what I have been doing since then.
I have experience tutoring learners of all ages and levels. My very first job was tutoring a small group of adults learning French in Canada. I also worked with Mexican elementary school children as an after school tutor. I can't wait to connect with you!
